I am working so hard in our Formal Dining Room, but she just isn't picture perfect yet. Not even close. Let's see I still haven't gotten the lighting down, I haven't recovered the chairs, I haven't even dressed the china buffet. I have however been shopping and thrifting and so it shouldn't take me long. I keep pausing and looking to the internet and magazines to give me great inspiration. We are after all on a huge budget and we certainly don't want to spend it all in one room. Yesterday I started on my table cloth when the sewing machine decided to give me so many problems. I guess I should clean her up and maybe she will work better for me. I love using the FDR even when there is no special occasion or holiday. I like to play dress up and fix a proper meal and have long talks with my boys in a beautiful setting. It makes us all feel good to the bones. Plus it's just extra time to teach the kids how to behave if their ever in a formal situation (that last the first 20 minutes we are just to laid back).
