Picture Day.

I would like to be one of  those people who doesn't get so darn excited. I'M NOT. I CAN'T......sad but true. This Saturday afternoon is our family picture day. Originally we were going to do them late afternoon at a park near my home. It has a beautiful pier and a long trail. It's been raining cats and dogs for 3 days, so I rescheduled to take them in my backyard. Our backyard is new. The house isn't new, but the garden is. We had to fence in part of the yard and the other half  backs up to a beautiful preserve. So no fence went up in that area, I refused to loose the view. We have worked so hard over the last 4 months adding trees, new sod and flowing flower beds. However she just isn't picture perfect.......Come this Saturday she will be though.....picture perfect that is. I can't wait for Saturday evening to get here. Let's just say it's a dessert party picnic for my boys, the yard will be overflowing with sugar. Make sure you come back Sunday for a sneek peak of our pictures.
