POTTERY BARN
I got my inspriration from KariAnne over at ThistlewoodFarms when she posted her lovely hand-written towels. I thought to myself oh I can do that, but I needed it to relate to the projects I'm currently working on. Then Debbie at debbidoo's posted a copy-cat-challenge. Then it clicked. Every year I wish I could just have Pottery Barn come load up my house with all their gorgeous decor. I mean seriously every single vignette is peferct and puts us in the holiday mood. This year I will be making most of my own decor, but I thought finding a simple vignette to copy couldn't be difficult and they always have great napkins. So I drove to the local Walmart purchased my $4.98 Flour Sack Towels and came home. Then I found some pictures that would work for my project on google and saved them to my laptop. Next I choose the words and font I thought would look great. I printed my materials up on regular paper. Grabbed my seat at the kitchen table, placed my towel over my taped down picture, sat a flash light facing up in my lap and begin to draw my image with a black sharpie.
