It's been a grey week here at my home and it's raining. So come on in out of the cold. Lola Bell is here to greet you with kind kisses.
We kept the entry pretty light and I love it. Fresh garland and a little burlap makes us happy. Clear vintage lights to finish off our console. Let's take a look at the Formal Dining room. This was my first year using stemware that my husband brought me while he was in Italy. I was so happy to incorporate something special during this season.
How about a closer look at the Christmas tree. I made lots of yarn ornaments and used some handmade ornaments that my father in law gives us every year. One day I hope to have enough of his ornaments to cover a tree. They are so special to our family, so I want them to have their own tree. We decided no Angel on top of this tree and added two large burlap bows. I also used hydrangea stems, grape stems and lots of sparkle.
Please come hang out in our family room. We want you to be very comfortable and feel right at home.
Family room Christmas tree. Dressed with oval and star shaped ornaments. Painted white and some covered in glitter. There's pine cones, woodland animals and my sweet Angel. The plan was to have another large tree in this spot. However every time I asked my guy to stop by the grocery store to get another tree, he gave me a little grief. So I whipped out a tomato cage turned upside down and lots of faux garland. Then I wrapped it around the cage and created my own little tree. He came home laughed and kissed me on the cheek. Gotta love it.
A little lace detail and bell. Do you Believe?
Thank you, thank you so much for stopping by. We love having you over. Come back anytime. I pray each and everyone of you have a wonderful Winter Holiday.
God Bless.
P.S. you can check out my other Holiday post here, here, here, and here. Our home is a work in progess. With a couple changes in the dining room and kitchen already in the works. I am looking forward to visiting everyone's holiday home this year and I hope you enjoyed ours.
