A Peak At The Tile For Our Kitchen.

I'm looking forward to change. Many changes as a matter of fact. First let's talk about my kitchen. Everything has been measured. Donnie will be tackling the electrical outlets this weekend. Not sure what the previous owners were plugging up, but can you believe we have 11 electrical outlets. That's eleven just in the backsplash area. UMMMM who does that? Here's a look at the tile that we ordered from The Foundary. We ordered this tile back in 2011, but overstock also sells it. It's not the cheapest tile, but for our kitchen accent wall it's what I wanted......BADLY.

Next big change is that my blog design is getting a makeover. Thanks to Kristin of Simply Klassic Design. I really wanted something a little more refined. My goal is to SIMPLIFY. That goes for everything from my decor to my life. I have been blogging for a short period of time. However I love blogging and as my style is growing up, I wanted my blog to grow with me.

So get ready peeps. I'm going to be bombarding you with  kitchen ideas, demo pics, and everything in between. Only because I am so darn excited and I feel like I need to majorly focus on just one thing.

P.S. Please don't expect this project to be completed soon. We are going to take it slow and try to get it done perfectly.

Brandy... It's going to be beautiful! I know you are so excited! I guess it's the year of taking it slow and deliberate, right? Can't wait to see the reveal! Have fun, girl!

"Amen" to not only getting a project done but getting it done perfectly / right. I definitely think doing anything right & fully the first time is a major strategy for simplifying although at first look the task is bigger and more involved. That's some lovely tile and I'm eager to see how your kitchen evolves. Enjoy the process and good luck!
